Oh dear, all the dire warnings about sarcasm being lost on the Yanks I got 
before I returned are proving true! Hey, guys ('my man'? Ooops, too long at
Cambridge), lighten up! Or is it "Chill" these days? Heck, repatriating after
a decade abroad (in a truly English speaking country!) is proving much
more difficult than I imagined......
