I currently own a rather nice '79 MGB but that has to go so that the
entire family can travel in our second car. I want to replace the MGB with
another LBC with the requirements being that it must be both convertible and
a four seater. Whatever I buy will also need to be in great shape since I'm not
interested in restoring it (too busy training for triathlons).
The perfect car would be an XJS convertible but lacking sufficient funds to
either buy or maintain such a beast I thought that a Triumph Herald or Vitesse
convertible would be a more realistic choice.
So before I start hunting for a Triumph can anyone tell me the things I should
watch for on these cars. What's good/bad and how easy is it to obtain spares
for these cars. Also any information on how much the Heralds and Vitesses sell
for would also be a great help.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice,
Paul.
