Another question:  regarding the battery cut off switch:  where might be the 
best place to put it in the MGB?  Can I mount it in the wall behind the 
seat?  With the batteries underneath a panel which is in turn underneath the 
carpet which is underneath the folded top, there is a nuisance factor here 
that approaches infinity if I mount it on a battery post.  On the other 
hand, it is hardly a deterrant if it is just in the engine compartment, 
right there by the solenoid, saying "Here I am, turn me on and the car is 
yours!"  

I almost guess you could get away with mounting the switch by the battery in 
the E-type as I almost guess that the non-professional car theif doesn't 
know how to open the hood in the E-type. (?)
