Fellow fiends:
Regardless of the name of my horrible disease, I am happy to report that the
"total immersion" method of treatment seems to have worked. Friday I went
to a casual and very summery car show "in the park" at Clarkston, MI
(wherein I must report, even to the Brit-car list, that I fell in love with
a cherry Alfa Duetto, vintage 1969) and then on Saturday and (part of)
Sunday I feed myself (alternately) scalding hot coffee, ice water, turkey
sandwiches, modestly priced Chardonay, and pretzels and moved significantly
forward on the '63 B restoration. You too can try this if you suffer from
the moribund restoration disease. Prunes may help, as well.
I am already planning the engine installation party, for next weekend. I'll
supply the brots and the beer. Be there!
