It gets harder and harder to be a front runner with a 25 year old car
with a cast iorn engine that was designed maybe 45 or 50 years ago
and has the ports all on one side of the head and in some cases siameezed.
The cars we run against have twin cam alloy engines. In many cases with
4 valves per cylinder and computer controled fuel injection. They have
suspensions that were designed on a computer, ours were drawn on a wet tea
towl with a finger full of porter.
There are no factory racing departments left to give sponsorship or advice.
It amazes me that there are still as many running as there are.
A year ago Hardy Prentice won The E-Prod national Championship in a TR3.
maybe there is still hope/
