1) Some spelling corrections to your list...

AC ALLARD ALVIS ARMSTRONG-SIDDELEY
                                                        ^
JENSEN/JENSEN-HEALEY JOWETT
    ^ ^
GILBERN GINETTA GORDON-KEEBLE GTM
                                    ^
VANDEN PLAS
  ^^ (no space)

BTW, Vanden Plas only made bodies, not complete cars. The name was
latterley used to denote an upmarket trim level.

2) Some omissions...

BENTLEY
FRAZER-NASH
GSM (The Delta)
HEALEY
HRG
INVICTA
LANCHESTER
LEYLAND
NAPIER
RAILTON
ROLLS-ROYCE !!!!!!!!!!
SWALLOW (The Swallow Doretti)
STANDARD
VOLVO? (P1800's were assembled in the UK for several years)

Some of them may be pre-1955, and there are probably more.

I think you will have a few problems making your list. Some of
the smaller makers used many different engines . What about
pseudo-racers like McLaren (M6B) and Lola (T70)? I saw a T70
being driven down the Kings Road a few years ago. Quite impressive!
