While, I appreciate people who are willing to maintain absolute authenticity,
such as painting the car in the original factory color, I come down squarely
on the side that it's your money so you paint it what you want to. With
Healeys you can be creative, if you want. Two-tone paint schemes were common,
based on the same paint colors as one-tone all over, but not all combinations
were standard from the factory. You can be distinctive by selecting two
complementary colors that were original separately but not combined. Then
you can decide which of the two colors you want the upholstery to match. For
the last several years I've been vacilating between a green/silver or two-tone
blue combination w/gray interior for my next project.
