I cant afford a big Healey because too many capitalist pigs made real money by
buying up most of the interesting LBCs and shiping them back to Europe, to
Australia or Japan. Sorry, I realize i'm totally blowing this news groups
etiquite rules but grumble. Used to be I saw LBCs everywhere all the time and
now I maybe notice something other than a Range Rover, Spit, Spridget, or XJ6
Jag once a week.
I guess now I'll grumble all day then go home to paint my Smiths heater
tonight.
This weekends a biggie. I hope to install the heater, instrument panel, and
upper steering column along with all their assorted struts & fixings. The
crinkle paint is finally on the center panel, and all the struts have new been
striped, de-rusted and painted. I have a bag of new fixings.. I suppose I
should take a before & after instillation picture. With the bulkhead &
kickpanel carpeting already in along with the fuzzy seal, gas peddle and front
rubber matts, it will almost look like a real car from the front seat, if I had
a front seat built up that is.
