There was a discussion of octane enhancers on the list the other day. Can anyone discuss Reid Vapor Pressure and specifically how one might measure it for a particular sample of gasoline? I live at 5300' elevation and drive my LBC at elevations up to 10,000' In the summer, I have experienced problems of having gasoline boil within the fuel system causing vapor lock. I would like to be able to measure the volatility of various gasolines sold here in the summer. Thanks in advance. -- |
