What's under the nagahyde? Metal? I'm guessing yes since you're
considering using a torch.
When I was doing my gas tank thing I had to remove a lot of
undercoating. What I found worked best was paint stripper. I wasn't
aware of the 3M stuff at the time so I don't know how that would have
worked, but I suspect it wouldn't do for nagahyde. The old stinky kind
might be worth a try. Sure did a job on the plastic scraper I was
trying to use at the time.
