Well, I'm getting closer.  My engine is ready to put in the car.  I
think the only issue ahead is the fact the engine looks rather spiffy
being all shiny and with freshly painted/polished parts and the
engine compartment doesn't.

Anyone ever tried to get a rep of the haynes repair manual to
participate in this email network?  I think it would be great for future
owners if we could update thge publishers easily on errors.  For
example, the Haynes book thinks a TR4 has two exhaust valves in the #4
cylinder and no intake valve for #1 (see instructions for adjusting
valves).

Question: pilot (input) shaft bushing: any issue if the fit of a new
bushing into the crank is not very tight?
