For what it's worth, my original 1963 122S has Girling master cylinders
and Lockheed hydraulics.  The brake master cylinder is black, the clutch 
cylinder is unpainted.  I *believe* that the master cylinder is original,
but I would have to look through the 30 years of receipts to see whether
they did change it.

(Just did the rear wheel cylinders last week, or more specifically,
wimped out and had a shop do it.  You need factory special tool SVO 1714
to pull the brake drums; that's only $64, but it takes six weeks, and
we needed the car for the weekend.)

I also had a neat time on Saturday.  We were buying a case of Castrol
and a filter in preparation for taking the Swedish Magnette (hey, if
I've got a Japanese GT6, I can bloody well have a Swedish Magnette) on
a trip this weekend, and stopped in at a new Kragen having its Grand
Opening.  We walked in at 1:53 PM, were handed tickets for a 2 PM raffle,
and as I was buying a case of oil, a filter, and a resealable drain pan,
Kim won a *better* sealable/pourable drain pan!  Pretty good, to win the
thing you were buying!  So I paid for the oil and filter, and as I was
helping Torrey with her seatbelt, the raffle announcer called *my* 
number!  I won some No-Touch Tire Foam and a Meguiar's hat!

Oh, now if you were going to use the stock carbs on your TR3A, I'd
show you the whizzy high-performance way to get rid of those restrictive
pancake filters.  I modified the TR3A/B filters that my 122S takes for 
its HS6 SUs so that I can replace the 1" element with a 4" element, which
will give a much smoother entry into the throat of the carb.  Ought to
be worth 1 to 3 bhp!
