   Actually an electro-mechanical injector as seen on all ECU controlled
FI systems can run on fuel pressure as low as 29psi.  Much lower and
safer than 70psi.  However, even at 29psi one has a very high potential
for fire if a fuel line breaks.  On many FI systems a sensor will
determine if the engine has stopped due to accident etc. and just
kill the fuel pump via a relay.
