Clubs:
There are two national Healey Clubs; The Austin-Healey Club of America
and The Austin-Healey Club, Pacific Centre. There is also a third group
that is large enough to be involved in the merger discussions mentioned
below, but is more regional in scope.
The AHCA originated here in the states. I don't know any more about the
history of the AHCA.
The AHCPC, was originally a chapter ('Centre') of the BMC-sponsored
owners club. There were chapters world-wide. When production stopped,
so did factory sponsorship of the club. The Pacific Centre had enough
local members who were active to continue on its own. It has become big
enough to have regions of its own and is loosely affiliated with a couple
other regional clubs, in Texas and British Columbia, if I recall correctly.
For several years now, there has been talk of the two national clubs
merging into a single club. This past year, a proposal for merging was
presented but was not well received. At this point, I'd say that there
will not be a merger anytime soon. Membership in either club should suit
your needs. I can't reccomend one over the other. Both have club
magazines, support local activities and provide limited technical help in
the form of talks and seminars. Approximately 10% of each club's
membership are members in both clubs.

Haynes Austin-Healey 100/6 and 3000 '56-'68.
Bentley Austin-Healey Complete Official Manual for 100/6 and 3000.
If you can find them, get them both. Bentley's is more complete,
Haynes has better pictures of intermediate steps. I use both
extensively. The Bentley Manual if available for Classic Motorbooks.
Books:

from top to bottom, that I would rate, or reccomend aquiring, them.
"Healey: The Handsome Brute" by Chris Harvey
Dumb title, great book. If you only get one book, this one and the
next one below are it.
"Original Austin-Healey: The Restorer's Guide to 100, 100-Six and 3000"
by Anders Ditlev Clausager
Newer book, excellently done by BL Heritage Trust's Archivist.
Best modern pictures you'll find anywhere. Part of a series.
"How to Restore British Sports Cars" by Jay Lamm
Good general guide to restoring any British car of the period. Some
things specific to Austin-Healeys.
"Austin-Healey" by David McLavin
Also full of execellent modern color pictures. Also, some pictures
of rare and unusual Healeys. A good addition to any Healey library.
"The Big Healeys" by Graham Robson - part of the Collectors' Guide series
Good, but not as good as Harvey's book. If you have Harvey's book,
this will duplicate some info. I think that the Appendices have
more detailed data on production than what is found in Harvey's book.
Useful for that reason.
"Illustrated Austin-Healey Buyer's Guide" by Richard Newton
Useful if you're in the market to buy. Some good pictures, but if
you study the relevant chapters in Harvey's and Clausager's, you'll
get the same info. When it was first published, it was critized for
errors of accuracy.
These are no longer in print, but if you can find them, buy them.

"Healey: The Specials"
These were both written by Geoffrey Healey, Donald's son and Chief
Engineer for all of Donald's car creations. Great info on the
history of the developement of the cars. Full of 'inside' info on
what went on behind the scenes.
"Healey and Austin-Healey (including Jensen-Healey)"
by Peter Browning and Les Needham
This book covers a lot of the competition history of all the various
Healeys. The appendices have lots of info on production and
technical details. Very good info. Also contained in the appendices
is information for tuning Healeys for competition. More good info.
There are other books available that I have not mentioned. Things like
period magazine article reprints and a few others. They can be useful
but the books listed above are IMHO better.
Parts Suppliers:
The following was pulled from the list a few years ago. It may, or may not,
be archived at the hoosier site. I haven't seen anything posted by Duane
recently and he doesn't show up in any of the annual surveys. I am assuming
that he is no longer on the list. It may be a bit dated, but as far as I
