No! The suspension components of the GT-6 and Spitfire are different. The Spit
parts are lighter in weight and design. The Spit spring is shorter. There are
many other differences, many of the parts can be interchanged but they will
change the geometry of the front end. The only place they are identical is the
bolt patern to the frame, so you can interchange them (of course you have to do
both sides the same). Many GT-6 vintage racers experiment with interchanging
parts from the Spit with the GT-6 to change the Geometry. A common change is to
take the Spit spring and fit it to the GT-6 suspension. I wouldn't recommend
this for street driving as it lowers the front of the car about 3".
