The list has been awfully quiet considering it's the middle of the Brit
car driving season. Heck, I've even been driving the snake instead of
working on it for a change. It has been perfect roadster weather since
the blast furnace heat wave we had a while back. Is everyone on vacation
or what?
Well, for the sake of posting something car related I'd like to remind
everyone in the S.F. Bay area of the Concours d'Elegance at Highland
Park in Ben Lomond this coming Sunday, August 15. The featured marque
will be Chevrolet but there should be a contingent of Brit cars as well. I
know there will be some ACs, and hopefully a few Cobras. If just my
wife and I go, I'll probably drive the snake (no it won't be entered in
the concours), otherwise will be there in the econobox.
Just when I thought we had beaten the pronunciation of JAGUAR to death I
came across another variation. In a radio commercial for a local dealer
the announcer pronounced it jag-wire.
