Your intuition concerning the units is good. Normally oil (well
air, and water too) automotive pressures are expressed in pounds
per square inch (psi or lb/sq in). Your units of 25 psf (pounds
per square foot) translates to 0.174 pounds per square inch
which, if true, is a *real* problem for your car.

25 lb 1 sq ft
----- * ------- = 0.174 lb / sq in
sq ft 144 sq in

Subject: SOL Patches
OK, it seems the SOL identifiers may actually get off the ground this
time. Pat V. is checking screened items (shirts, etc.)., but there has
always been talk of alternatives. So, (gulp), I'm gonna check on getting
embroideried sew-on patches made. So, I need an estimate of how many
to order. Please Read the following carefully!
-This is preliminary, I'm not taking acutal orders, and I don't know what
they will cost. (take a guess, based on what you've seen at shows and mail
order!; maybe $3-6 each, Postage unknown.)
