Howdy all. As I mentioned last week, I am trying to splice together
various movies and tv shows that feature Sunbeam Tigers and Alpines.
Several people responded and sent the names of movies that they had
seen which featured Sunbeams. Here's the list thus far:
"Dr. No" James Bond in a Blue Series I or II Alpine.
"To Catch A Thief" Grace Kelley in a 1954 Alpine (source: C. Selvarajah)
"Get Smart" Maxwell Smart in an episode devoted to his new Tiger
"Casino Royale" David Niven in a Tiger (source: Steve Cseplo)
"Secret Agent" (a 1966 episode) Patrick McGoohan, series I or II Alpine
"Commando" Arnold Schwarzeneger in an Alpine (source: Richard George)
"Dobie Gillis" (a 1959 episode) Dobie gets a new Alpine
"Power and Glory" A tv series on racing, showing Alpines at La Mans
Many thanks for the contributions. Can anyone think of any other movies
or tv shows? There must be more on Tigers out there ...
Hmmm ... I wonder who now owns the Alpine that Sean Connery drove in
"Dr. No"? ... or the Tiger that Don Adams drove in "Get Smart"?
