Yes. You should know that you can change over to tapered roller bearings.
They are cheaper, stronger, longer-lasting and adjustable. Racers use them all
the time. You can throw away the "distance piece" or spacer, and adjust them
like on a regular car.
I got mine at a regular car parts store in West Saint Paul. I just walked in
on speculation and asked for a quote. The guy looked it up and asked, "Do you
want the ball bearings or roller bearings?" The roller bearings were cheaper
than the ball bearings from MG mail order places, and cheaper than the ball
bearings the local place could order. Sorry I did not save the bearing
numbers. I posted them long ago, so maybe one of the current Spridget pilots
on the list saved them.
So get new ball bearings, new bearing seals and fresh cotter pins.
If your car has wire wheels, as us again how to pull out the dust caps.

Guilty.
But "Renault powered" implies that it runs. It is still in many pieces.

When Renault modified the R-16 engine for the Europa, they took off the lousy
1-barrel Solex and replaced it with a lousy 2-barrel Solex. One of the more
recent owners of my car replaced it with a 45DCOE Weber. He never hooked up a
choke cable, though.
