I had to replace the heater valve in my 68 B a couple of months ago.
It would leak when open to a particular position. I was surprised,
but a new heater valve is less than $25. I ordered mine from a place
I've just started getting catalogs from, British Motoring Accessories,
or some such. OK prices and service so far, but they did not include
a gasket for the valve, so I had to make one.
