I got the catalogue from British Tool Co today. Turns out this place is
more about original tool-kit tools than service tools. They have tool-kit
tools for:

    Austin-Healey BN1267, BT7, 3000, Sprite Mk I, II
MG TC/TD/TF "Saloons and many pre-war cars"
    Morris Minor Series II, 1000
MGA, MGA twin-cam, Magnette, Riley 1.5
    MBG, Midget
    Jaguar (all of 'em?)
    TR 2, 3

Plus, British Standard Whitworth (BSW), Fine (BSF) and British Association
(BA) taps, dies, and thread repair kits; plus clutch alignment tools,
hammers, manuals and service tools. Some service tools are offered on a
rental basis only. They have "King Dick" brand of British sockets and
wrenches, jowly bulldog for a logo! No comment!!

But check out the Lucas service manuals section ($10 each):

    LB1 - LUCAS EQUIPMENT FOR 1948 - 1962 CARS. "A catalogue of
Lucas part numbers and their application. Very useful for
    determining suitability, originality and swappability."

    LB2 - LUCAS EQUIPMENT FOR 1963 - 1965 CARS. As above...

    LB3 - LUCAS IGNITION PARTS FOR OLDER VEHICLES (1930 - 1970).
"A catalogue of part numbers / suitability. Great for cross
    reference!"

LB4 - ALTERNATORS. "One of the 'Profit From Training' series.
Discusses at length alternator theory, mechanics, and repair
    of LUCAS alternators."

LB5 - BATTERIES. Another Profit: "Discusses battery principle,
    construction, service, use and safety."

LB6 - FAULT DIAGNOSIS. Another Profit: "An excellent dissertation
on all aspects of a Lucas electrical system in an automobile.
Subjects include: batteries, starters, ignition, charging
systems, lighting and wiper motors. A must for your British
    Car!"

Yikes!! Lucas factory manuals that purport to explain all about Lucas
electrical systems!! No way!! I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry!!

Anyway, add this place to your contacts file. I've got the street address
this time:

    British Tool Company
    891 Houseman N.E.
    Grand Rapids, MI 49503
    (616) 458-9768

I think it's best to raise a human at that phone# after six in MI and on
weekends.

Merry tool kits to all...
