I'm in the process of stripping my '74 Midget and am having a hell of a
time getting the front suspension A-arm off the one side. The mounting
bolts are stuck fast. So far I've tried pounding and penetrating oil,
burned the bushings out and tried heating the metal inserts. I did manage
to free the outer bushing insert, but the inner one is still stuck fast to
the mounting bolt. Before I spend the better part of a day with a hacksaw
cutting the mounting bolts off, I'm hoping to find a suggestion that might
work. If anyone has found a good method for freeing stuck bushing inserts,
I'd really appreciate the tip.
Thanks
