Car colors

Well, it is time for me to think of what color to repaint my MGB.

I have narrowed it down to a few colors I really like, one of which is red.
The only thing holding me back about that is I have heard that red cars
attract more that their fair share of attention from the boys in blue.
However, I have never heard this from someone who actually has a red car.

So how about it?  Those of you with red LBCs... have you felt too 
conspicuous at times??
