Au contraire, mes amis.  The 289 is narrower than the 327, but they're
_both_ 90 degree V8s.  The Chevy motor is preferred in swaps where length
rules the decision, and the Ford when width and weight take precedence.
As Dan Stone said, too, the Ford has the distributor in the front, making
tuning much easier than from the cramped firewall.

Besides, then you don't have to deal with Chevys, either :-).  Too bad the
SB Chrysler's so _big_.
