For cutting foam, you can get some nichrome resistance wire with a variable voltage supply, strecth it on a frame of some sort and sort of melt through it. Where I used to work, they used the MIG welder. Feed out a few feet of wire and ground to far end at low power to get it warm. Worked like a charm. |
