Well, since you have to take the motor out anyway to replace
it, you might as well just start doing that, and then see
what the problem is after it's out. It's a harder call when you are trying
to decide if the car will be sold/junked or not. Then, if
you take the engine out and find too many problems, you have
to put it back to get rid of the car, which sounds like
a frustrating waste of time.
How come whenever anyone on this list wants to talk about
a non-british car, they are afraid to admit what kind it is?
