All this discussion about Japanese car parts patterned after british reminds me that a mechanic once told me that a cylinder head from a datsun B210 would fit right on to a MGB motor, oil and water holes matching perfectly. I never checked this out, but it would be interesting. Having an aluminum head might be nice - could run a higher compression without pinging type problems. Has anyone else heard this? eric. |
