GEICO is the ringleader in attempts to ban radar detectors. In
addition to the one-claim-and-you're-out method of doing business,
they will cancel you if you admit you own a detector (this tactic is
not legal in all states). Also, if you apply for coverage and admit
you own a detector, your business will be refused.
I'm not trying to start a flame war here. I'm not even urging you to
boycott GEICO. I merely report the facts. One fact is, for the
reasons stated above, I do not do business with GEICO.
