What are these 5-speed gearbox origins?? Are they out of a Metro?
Custom box? What is the final drive ratio like, esp. with 10-12 in. vs
13 in. wheels if it is really from the Metro? Does it fit in the same
space as standard mini gearbox? Do I get a discount if I buy it mated
to a A+ Turbo engine? :)

I guess this is semi BC related since the car in question was a very
serious threat to the Cobra. The car looks similar to the Cobra Datyona and
yes, had a special corvette 427 driving the rear wheels. It's builder, whos
name escapes me, wished to enter into a deal with Chevy, similar to the
one Shelby had. Chevy (falsely) claimed that they would honor the non-racing
ban and did not support the cheetah. Only about 25 were produced and were
uncompetitive in prototype class.
Anyway, getting to the point of the post. One time when talking to a
local Cobra owner, the Cheetah came up in the conversation. This guy had
raced one at one point. While a certain Royal figure's thighs wern't mentioned,
a part of the male anatomy was mentioned several times, in enlarged proportions
