There seems to be duplicate messages sent from encore.com, perhaps when the
dups stop shipping, the volume will be more reasonable. However, anyone
that can't handle 135 mail messages a day devoted to LBC's is probably
working too hard.
Now on to the serious fun: in my street sprite (61 MkI) the odometer works,
but the trip meter does not. The speed indicator is stuck at 27 mph, though
in 4th gear at 4500 rpm it sometimes jumps to 42 mph. I've greased, coaxed,
cajoled, begged, wiggled, dismantled, reassembled, beaten, blessed the speed-
ometer. But the durn thing just don't want to work. Any ideas before I drop
$$$$ into a new one?
BTW, the car only has 5473 miles, so it has to be age, not wear.
And yes that's documented.
