The "mild street grind" cam that British Motorsports offers is a nice cam. Probably good for 2-5 HP, and you can get a nice smooth idle at 1000 RPM. I've have my machine work done a Kaeding Performance. It wouldn't take too much work to push your car from BMS to Kaedings. They do very professional engine machine work. Their sideline is sprint car racing. Spend the $30 on a new set of lifters. Getting the old ones machined may mean you'll run out of possible adjustment on the valves. andy |
