You might check out Dunlop if you want to stay original (or
a least British).
Dunlop SP4s do indeed come in 165-15 -- I bought some for my TR4A last year.
But they're made in Japan now, I'm afraid.
My itty bitty brain is telling me it thinks Sumitomo bought Dunlop -
in any event I too bought a set of SP4s last year (for a TR3); they
have behaved quite nicely so far. The place I got them also had
Continental and Michelin 165-SR15s.
Another choice for those in a cartain frame of mind is Commander,
which makes replica tyres for all sorts of older cars. They are the
folks making the replica redlines that have just become available.
"Replica" seems to mean more or less original construction and tread
design, as well as odd sizes. They make, among other things, 155-15 or
165-15 bias ply tyres with a wide whitewall, and perhaps without it, too.
I have no idea how to get in touch with them, but TRF does.
