[Autox-ers, this is a reply to an article in which a Yoko rep is quoted
as claiming that A001Rs are faster for autox than A008Rs, because the
1s are 'rain road-race tires with a low operating temp of 120 - 140',
and 8Rs want 180 - 200, which is difficult to generate on an autox course.]
Well, mutter. I've just decided to shell out for some real race rubber.
I was ready to buy 8Rs, and now I have to wonder. I'm campaigning a
TR-4A in ES. I'll soon have a set of 5x15 wheels, aching to have new
tires mounted on them. I'm open to any and all suggestions about what
brand, model and size to buy...
