The engine supplied to Jensen was the Lotus 907 engine, a 2 liter dohc. When you normally hear the phrase "Lotus Twin Cam" engine used, it may refer to the engine used in the Europa, rather than the 907. In the Jensen-Healey, the Vauxhall suspension and back axle were retained, and the Lotus 907 engine was backed by a non-overdrive Sunbeam Rapier four-speed all-synchromesh gearbox. -- Tom Watt Open Software Foundation 11 Cambridge Center Cambridge, MA 02142 Phone: (617) 621-8711 Internet: watt@osf.org |
