If this doesn't win the oddball request award, it will probably come
close.

I'm looking for a rubber front MGB bumper in usable condition. It
doesn't have to be pretty, or unscratched, just not broken, cut, or
have any non-stock holes.

I'm willing to pay for it, but would prefer a trade. What I'm
willing to trade for this fine example of NHTSA/modern art is a
complete chrome bumper set from a '70 B. The chrome bumpers are in
good condition: The chrome has very minimal spotting on the
outside; the bumper itself and mounts are unbent. As far as I know,
it should bolt right on to your rubber-bumper B.

1970 was the split rear bumper year. The licence plate fits between
the two pieces of the bumper. I honestly don't remember the status
of the license plate lights. I also am thinking one of the rubber
pieces ( the black teardrop-shaped thing on the bumper ) is missing
from one of the rear pieces, but I can't say for sure. If these are
major bargaining points, they can be fixed or replaced as needed.

Also, having never owned a rubber bumpered B, I don't know if you'd
need a grill. If that's the case, I can throw that in too! Once
again, '70 vintage. Could probably use a coat of paint, but
otherwise it's in undamaged condition and it includes the MG badge.

Remember: all this for JUST a front rubber bumper!

In case you're wondering why, I want this to go on my racing BGT.
It provides slightly better aerodynamics and allows better
modifications for ducting.

I'm serious. I want to make this trade. If you want to make that
new B a classic, contact me.
