Educate me, Spitfire/GT-6 types.  Did the Spit ever have the GT-6+
(Mark II in England) rear supension?  I would think that getting the
fully-independent rear suspension instead of those godawful swing
axles would be even more of an advantage than the 6-cyl engine.
