I have a Facet "Red Top" competion pump in my Dutton Phaeton(poor mans Lotus Seven). Engine is a "sprint" level tuned Ford X-Flow, Big Valves, twin 40s(Dellorto), 1700cc, etc, etc, It pulls around 7500rpm and the Facet copes fine. I use a "Filter King" fuel regulator with it. I am told that if you go to out&out race tune on this type of engine(works Escorts etc) two Facets are recommended. As RDH said they are very noisy tho'. Mark Stiles, Staffordshire Polytechnic, UK |
