Well, I sort of blew it in my last post. The group name was
changed to Alt.tv.prisoner, and the licence plate appears
to be KAR120C, not KAR123. (I still remember it this way...)
In any event, something of interest was posted there recently,
to wit:
Article 132 of alt.tv.prisoner:

Speaking of merchandising, did you know Caterham Cars has launched a limited
edition "Lotus" Super Seven for Prisoner fans? same colors and everything!
For $16,951 (British Pounds) you can roar off and resign today! You'll also
get a certificate signed by McGoohan and a subscription to the fan magazine
Six of One. Word has it McGoohan has ordered chassis number six!
I know in California someone has already taken the personalized plate
KAR 120C, seen in every opening of the show. How about in other states?
any other Prisoner fans out there driving a KAR 120C?

I bet mcGoohan has already got the personalized plates here in
California tied up. (I have to think of SOME excuse not to get one...)
