Since buying my 4A, I've rediscovered what driving is about. It's about
experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of my car, the road and
world around me. It's not about isolating myself from the world in a
little cocoon, a miniature replica of my home.
i call this the `living room' approach to driving; the most extreme
version of this that i know of is the current lincoln town car.
people who drive these don't really want to leave their living
rooms, so they buy cars that remind them of sitting in the easy
chair, watching tv and drinking their scotch and soda.
