#1 - zero. All Ford-engined cars had the FMX automatic tranny.
#2 - there's been a lot written about this and you can find it on the BI
website and/or the archives for this list. Various epoxies have been
mentioned, but the one I hear most about is probably Liquid Nails. Someone
else will step up with details on this, I'm sure. :)
