I dont trust that Senator. I think we need to watch it always, because he's
the type to make it last so long that people stop paying attention, then do
something terrible.

is on it's way to become passed. It also appears to be dramatically
changed: cars 30+ years old are exempt, but if there is a sobriety check
point and a car is seen to be smoking, then it can be assigned a smog check
regardless of age??? If this is the case, it is far different from the
orig. legislature.

Anyone heard any more about this:
Senate Bill 708 repeals the current pro-hobbyist exemption for
vehicles 30 years and older and replaces it with an exemption for
vehicles that are 45 or more model years old commencing
January 1, 2005.
When is it supposed to be voted on, or was it. I ment to run it in
the July issue, but I think it had already been voted on. I just
didn't know the outcome.
