Those are good questions, but I think the bigger issues will be oil pan
clearance and the fact that the brick is a front steer instead of a rear
steer(placement of tie rods in relation the centerline). most racks are for
rear steer and it would be kind of hard to get used to turning the wheel
left to go right. You could probably change the car to a rear steer by
swapping some brackets but then you run into more oil pan issues. the only
real way to do it would to fabricate a tubular crossmember and use different
spindles. this way you could deal with the oilpan issues by placing the rack
where it had to go instead of dealing with the present crossmember's
restrictions.
