The problem is, that with (Cheep) lugcentric wheels you have to use a pain
in the a$$ shouldered lug nut. The only way to get away from this is to use
a more expensive hub centric wheel that uses acorn style nuts. This is
because the cheep wheels line up on the lugs and have a big center hole so
that they can fit a wide variety of cars. The hub centric wheels fit snugly
on the hub, centering the wheel and only uses the nuts to hold the wheel on.
You MAY be able to machine a spacer to make the OEM wheels hub centric then
you buy inserts (I've seen them but where?) to use acorn style nuts, thus
having the best of both worlds, OEM wheels that go around and are easy to
change. They will probably stay round longer also.
