I couldn't agree more. In fact, I've said it before (maybe not on this
list) and I'll say it again
I've had many questions looking for a "good" mechanic in some geographical
area. My reply is:
"Go into the bathroom, look in the mirror - that is the only mechanic that
will give a damn. If you don't like what you see, you need to get a new
hobby."
