I have had remotes on my car for over a year now and I love them. But I
think my system was set up differently from the way everyone elses is. my
valve is either open or closed . The valve is grounded and the power wire
from the valve goes to the (com) on the switch in the cock pit then from
the (n.o.) on the switch in the cock pit then to the (com) on the outside
switch. Then the battery is conected to the (n.o.) of the outside
switch. So to open the door, you close the outside switch and the door
opens. you get in and break the conection with the switch on the inside
and the door closes. With this kind of system, it was easy to add a
remote.
