Randy,
If you want an exhaust system that will last a life time I might have
something for you. I don't have the company's name right now but I will dig
through my classic truck mags to find it and email it to the list tomorrow.
The company is a custom exhaust shop but the beauty is that you don't have
to take the car to them. This is how it works, you buy a pattern kit which
consists of some plastic tubing expanding foam and instructions. Remove all
of your old exhaust and run the plastic tubing in its place. once you have
it lined up you use a special injector (included) to fill the tube with
foam. You then simply cut the tubing where needed and ship the moldings to
the company. They then scan the dimensions in and custom make your
exhaust. All of the bends are mandrel (for easy breathing) and are made to
a perfect fit. You them simply bolt the system up. They sell their system
in either standard steel or Stainless Steel (will last a lifetime). Like I
stated I don't have the company's name but I will find it and post it.
