I assume you mean McMaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com/).

In making some quick measurements, it doesn't look too promising as a
bolt-on. A custom screw on extension / door pivot would be required. You
could use the clevis if you made a new door bracket, but the total pivot
length is ~3.12" too short as a quick guestimate, limiting max door opening.
Unfortunately, adding the extension would keep the door from shutting
without relocating the bottom pivot in towards the center of the car, which
in turn keeps the door from opening all the way. Doing this would also put
too much binding on the rod, causing premature failure.

If, on the other hand, an extension is added to the existing pivot base with
some offset and a minimal extension pivot to match the OEM unit; then it
looks doable.
