Hey Duff=2C would you please forward this to team? I'm having problems wit=
h my MGBGT=2C and I'm totally out of ideas. Let me recap: My MG hasn't be=
en driven much this year due to health problems (mine)=2C and when I took i=
t in for inspection and emissions testing=2C it failed the idle part of the=
test=2C too much HC. Now when I fired it up to take it for testing in Aug=
ust=2C it fired right up and ran great. I'm thinking maybe I didn't get it=
warmed up well enough before they put the probe in tail pipe. But recentl=
y=2C as my physical problems have abated=2C I've replace the spark plugs=2C=
one at a time=2C changed the oil and filter=2C checked the timing and adju=
sted the valves. After all that=2C it did start briefly=2C but immediately=
died. After much cranking it restarted=2C but it had ahuge miss and
backfire. I checked that I still ahd correct firing order and distributor=
rotation=2C and all of that is okay. I replaced the coil=2C and now I get=
a strong blue spark that will jump a 3/8" gap from the spark plug end of a=
ll the spark plug wires=2C so the spark is good. I checked spark through m=
y new spark plugs=2C and it was yellow and feeble=2C so I bought some more =
(better) spark plugs. But it still won't start. It does get an occasional=
pop back through the carbs. I'm out of ideas=3B does someone have a sugge=
stion? Now that my health is returning=2C I'm going back to work and I nee=
d the car for my daily driver. If anyone has any suggestions=2C please let=
me know at sabner@yahoo.com.Thank you very much in advance=2C I appreciate=
 any suggestions. =
