Same thing. You will need to reinforce the front sway bar mounts on the
Miata if you install a big bar. Re the comments on weights, it is not going
to be possible to find a 99 with no PS or AC (you can remove them legally)
but the livability difference for the Mazda vs. the mr2 is great. The mazda
is a good solid daily driver with actual storage. Personally though, I think
with a LSD, the new mr2 will be unbeatable in C-Stock autocross unless we
end up putting the NEW boosted Miata in C stock (and it ain't going to fly
in B-Stock). On paper, the mr2 is the better autox car and I've always
assumed the lack of LSD hobbled it in stock classes, but Charlie, you need
to tell her that the Miata is a better car to get girls with.
