I emphatically second everything that Peter just said, with one additional
comment. The Spyder is much roomier. I sit so tall I make a divot in the
roof of any Miata with the top up when the seat is adjusted so I can reach
the steering wheel, but I can drive my car with the top up and my helmet
on. This may not be a problem for her, but it's a consideration.
The weakest point on the MR2 is the front sway bar mount points. When you
put in a big enough bar to keep the inside back wheel on the ground, you
run the risk of popping the delicate spot welds on them. The LSD should
help with that. (Or a few minutes with the welder.. :) ) I don't know
what the Miata's heel is.
